Setting war among the similar technology providers like Roku and Google Chrome Cast, the Amazon Fire TV streaming is going to launch by the end of this month. According to the reports arrived it is said that the device is for the Prime users with the starting range of Rs. 1999 and for others at Rs. 3999 whereas, the Amazon sources are denying about the development.
On the other hand, the opponent developer has launched its first Internet TV set-top box last week. The device is ranged at Rs. 4999 with the additional benefit of complimentary subscription for three months. Moreover, the rumors are out that Reliance Jio is also planning to be part of this completion by introducing its Internet TV STB soon.
The Amazon Fire TV gives the facility to have access on various apps such as YouTube, Netflix and Prime Videos. Also, the Prime users will get the unlimited usage of Amazon Prime videos, movies and shows.
This device would be available in chosen cities at first by Amazon, Reliance Digital and Chroma but with passage of time it will be distributed to other cities in order to expand the service. The Fire TV product may not replace your DTH but can be seen in the form of stick or TV Box.
Fire Stick configures the Android OS version with Amazon UI, 1GB RAM, and the Quad-core processor. And, for the operation of remote Alex-backed voice commend is also established in the device.
Dimensional figure of the product is 85.9 x 30.0 x 12.6 mm and it is designed to plug in the HDMI port of your TV. The size of the stick is bigger than the normal HDMI cable. There is a micro USB slot for charging the stick. The box in which the user will get the product also contains power adapter and the USB cable. The device will have the better version of WiFi i.e. 802.11ac which will buffer the content at faster speed.
On the flip side, there are demerits of the device as it is not intelligent enough to judge the streaming service on which the asked show is provided. Lastly, it has 1080p resolution which is very limited but it is expected if the facilities are compared with the range in which the product is launched in the market.
